Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS) - Edmond

This American Heart Association healthcare training program is designed specifically for medical professionals and professional rescuers or any one going into these fields. The course covers adult, child and infant CPR, foreign-body airway obstruction and use of AEDs and includes two rescue scenarios with the use of the bag valve mask. This is an American Heart Association BLS-CPR/AED class. Students will receive a 2 year certification after passing the class. AHA Ecards will be emailed within 2 business days after the class.

This is part 2 skills sessions only for American Heart BLS online part 1.


You must complete Online Part 1 before attending the skills session.

Limit your time in the classroom and enjoy smaller groups with our blended learning option. You will receive the same certification from Health and Safety Institute you would in our normal class, but you can do most of the work online first at your convenience.

Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) -Blended Learning Class (Online & In-Person) - Fayetteville

This is the American Heart Association ACLS (Advance Cardiac Life Support) certification class in a blended learning format.

Prerequisite: You must have a current Basic Life Support certification prior to attending this course.

Step 1: Enroll in this skills session to secure your seat. ($130)

Step 2: Enroll in online part 1 on the AHA site. ($168) This must be completed prior to attending this skills session. Part 1 can be found here: https://shopcpr.heart.org/heartcode-acls. Allow approximately 4 hours to complete. You can stop and resume at any time.

Step 3: You must bring a copy of your ACLS online part 1 certificate to this skills session. If you cannot print it, please bring a picture of it or screen shot on your phone.

Child and Babysitting Safety - Broken Arrow

This course covers child safety and basic care techniques for infants and children. Learn about starting a babysitting business, water hazards, infant feeding, hand washing, choking, some basic first aid, CPR and more. Child and Babysitting Safety is offered through a nationally recognized organization called the American Safety and Health Institute. Students will receive a workbook and a two year certification card upon completion of course. Student will be emailed a 2 year certification card. They will also receive a student workbook. This course is for ages 11-15 years old.

After you sign up for a skills session, you will be sent the link to the online part. The online class takes approx. 2.5 hours to complete. The price includes the online and in-person part. The 2 year certification meets all Oklahoma and Arkansas childcare requirements and OSHA requirements

Red Cross CPR, AED, First Aid Instructor Course - Broken Arrow

American Red Cross CPR, AED and First Aid Instructor course

This instructor course is a 2 part blended class. It begins with the online session, which you must complete before attending the in-person session.

Prerequisite: You must have a current Red Cross CPR, AED First Aid student certification.
 
Upon successful completion of this course, you will be an independent certified Red Cross Instructor under Life Pro Safety's affiliate instructor program. Affiliation with Life Pro allows you to take advantage of discounted certification cards, roster processing service and more. We charge a $49 processing fee to process your rosters and a per card fee for each student. Student certification card fees are $18-$36 each depending on the course. 

Once enrolled in this course, you will receive an email from the American Red Cross with instructions about how to access and complete the course online session. Please allow up to 1 business day for you to receive this email.

Once you receive the email, you can get started. To get started, log in to the Red Cross Learning Center and click on the class on your home page. The materials listed below are available as hard copies for purchase at the Red Cross Store (except for the course presentations); the store is accessible via a link provided in the Red Cross Learning Center (redcrosslearningcenter. org).
