Class Enrollment

Our Fire Safety Training class is designed for anyone and everyone. This 1-hour course begins with a classroom portion including videos and discussions.  The course wraps up outdoors with a hands on skills practice. Students will use water extinguishers while utilizing the P.A.S.S method.

Some topics include:

• Home and workplace fire safety
• Fire classifications
• Fire extinguisher types
• Understanding fire extinguisher labels
• Selecting the correct extinguisher
• Making the decision to fight or evacuate
• Proper extinguishing techniques

This course meets OSHA standard 1910 which says that all employers shall provide training to their employees initially upon employment and annually. (See Below)

• 🚪 If you arrive more than 10 minutes late, you will need to enroll in another class.

• 📅 If the class minimum is not met and the class is canceled, you will be notified at least 2 days before the class.

• 🚫 No guests or children are allowed.

• ⏰ Classes may end early. Instructors will leave promptly after class—please arrange rides accordingly.

• If you are pregnant or have physical limitations, please consult your doctor to ensure you can safely practice multiple cycles of chest compressions. You must perform all required skills to receive certification.

💵 Refund & Reschedule Policy

• You may reschedule your class once at no additional cost if the request is made at least 24 hours before the scheduled start time.

• Any additional reschedules will require payment for a new course.

• To cancel your reservation, you must do so at least 24 hours before the class start time.

• No-shows are not eligible for a refund and must re-enroll and repay to take the course.

OSHA Standard

1910.157(g)(1)

Where the employer has provided portable fire extinguishers for employee use in the workplace, the employer shall also provide an educational program to familiarize employees with the general principles of fire extinguisher use and the hazards involved with incipient stage fire fighting.

1910.157(g)(2)

The employer shall provide the education required in paragraph (g)(1) of this section upon initial employment and at least annually thereafter.
